Dr. Dana Bates received her doctoral degree from Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California, and completed her undergraduate studies at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She completed internships at Omni Eye Specialists in Denver, Colorado, Omaha Eye & Laser Institute in Omaha, Nebraska, Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, and the Eye Care Clinic of Fullerton in California. Dr. Bates is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is a member of the Arizona Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry and the American Optometric Association.
She has worked in private practice in the Phoenix area since 1999. Her special interests include contact lenses, diagnosing and managing diseases of the eye and providing comprehensive eye care examinations for the entire family.
Dr. Bates enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 sons, running marathons, hiking, scuba diving, and reading.
